Area Rug Shipping Policy

Shipping Costs
Our goal at Abingdon Rug is to provide, for our customers, the best and most consistent quality of product delivery and maintain our low prices. We ship all of our rugs UPS and FedEx Ground.

FREE SHIPPING ON MOST ORDERS
Most orders from Abingdon Rug qualify for FREE SHIPPING. If your card merchandise subtotal is $150 or higher, your order will be shipped for FREE to any address in the contiguous USA. We ship via FedEx, UPS, UPS Freight, and a network of common carriers.

Orders Under $150
For orders with a cart merchandise subtotal less than $150, shipping is charged according to the following chart:

Processing/Handling Fee
All orders will be charged a processing/handling fee of $4.95.

All Sales Are Subject to Availability
We make every effort to be aware of availability of the products we sell, but we do not have control of our suppliers inventory or backorder status. Abingdon Rug Outlet is not responsible for any typographical errors. Abingdon Rug Outlet also reserves the right to cancel any customer order that is found to have a pricing error due to a web site programming bug or typographical error.

Shipping Information
We process orders as quickly as possible.  Most orders shipped within 7-14 business days.  Generally all rugs can be shipped within 4-6 weeks. We ship our rugs with UPS Ground service.   UPS packages are limited to 9' length or 70 lbs. Notice: From time to time we offer a free shipping sale. During this sale, our return policy is altered slightly for the rugs. Please review that policy if you have any questions.

Delivery Time
Most items take between three and five business days to ship based upon the item’s availability. Delivery of braided and custom items may take up to six weeks. In some cases, all of the items in your order may not ship together or in the same package. Rug pads will normally be sent in separate packaging.

Oversized Items
Oversized rugs and other items that are too large or heavy to ship via FedEx, UPS, or UPS Freight will be sent via LTL (less than truckload) common carrier. This service differs from small-package delivery in that they will call you to schedule a delivery appointment and only deliver curbside. Most LTL carriers schedule appointments for a two-to-four hour window between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5: 00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Inspection
It is extremely important that you carefully inspect your package at the time of delivery. If the packaging is damaged, or for any reason you suspect a problem, please write “PRODUCT DAMAGED” on the signature sheet. This will make resolving the issue much easier and speed up the replacement for the damaged rug.

Pricing Policy

We strive to provide you with the lowest prices possible on Abingdonrug.com as well as in our store. However, sometimes a price online does not match the price in the store.

Price Match Policy

Abingdon Rug Outlet is committed to delivering the best value on rugs. Due to our low pricing, we cannot display manufacturer pricing of all rugs however by contacting our store by phone or email we will be glad to help you compare prices. If you find a lower price for a particular rug brand or collection we carry, contact us and we will beat that price .

To take advantage of the offer PRIOR TO SALE, simply fax (276-628-5651) a copy of the printed ad to us for verification. If you saw it on the web, send or call us with the URL. We want your business and will beat any advertised offer.

*Note: Our Better Than Their Price Match Guarantee can not be combined with any other "sale" prices currently being advertised on our web site. The rug must be a current running line of one of our suppliers and the quote must be for first quality merchandise (no closeouts or discounted rugs). Sales tax and shipping charges, if applicable, will be calculated in all price match quotations in the contiguous United States.

AbingdonRugOutlet.com reserves the right to deny any price match on an item that does not meet the criteria of our Price Match Policy.

Return Policy

Returning a Rug is as Easy as 1-2-3 (US Customers Only)

Customer Satisfaction is our #1 goal at Abingdon Rug. We stand behind every rug we sell. Our Risk-Free 10 day trial assures your satisfication. If, for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, return it within 10 days and we will refund the full purchase price. Please Note: It can take up to 72 business hours for a credit to appear or 7-14 days to receive a refund check.

Clearance Items, personalized and custom-made items are, regretfully, non-returnable, unless there is damage or a defect in which case we will happily provide a replacement of the item you ordered.

Shipping costs on all returns going back to the Abingdon Rug warehouse are the responsibility of the customer. Refused packages or packages not returned to the address below may result in a 20% service fee. We recommend that packages be sent back to us with any carrier that can track and insure it's packages. Make sure to call or email us with the tracking number so that we can track the package for you and issue credit immediately upon arrival. Please be sure to completely wrap your returns in the original packaging or equivalent and please DO NOT apply tape to the actual rug(s) or fold the rug(s). Items that have been soiled or damaged may be refused or cause you to incur additional fees. We will not accept rugs that have been visibly damaged or soiled. We do not accept returns of oversized rugs that are 9 x 12 or larger. No refunds will be given after ten days. *

Call us toll-free at 1-866-289-2784, email us, or use our live support chat for your Return Authorization Numbers, RA#. Wrap the rug(s) securely in the original packaging or the equivalent. Be sure to affix the RA# to the outside of the package and a short note inside the package explaining the reason for the return.

Use the carrier of your choice to return the package(s) to the address below unless you are instructed otherwise.

* REMINDER: BEFORE RETURNING A RUG PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL FOR A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. MAKE SURE TO AFFIX THE RA# TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE AND NOT THE INSIDE. RUGS RETURNED DAMAGED OR SOILED, WITHOUT A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER OR MORE THAN TWO WEEKS AFTER THE RA# WAS ISSUED MAY BE REFUSED OR INCUR A 20% SERVICE FEE.
